A comprehensive emergency management plan has been created by the CCSO along with members of our staff to provide all staff and volunteers the information necessary to properly respond in any emergency situation.
All vendors, suppliers and volunteers will provide an on-site mobile number prior to the event which will be added to a data base allowing us to communicate via text should there be a reason to do so. Such as, a lost child, inclement weather, safety concern.
No coolers, large bags or backpacks will be permitted.
A list of all vendors, suppliers and volunteers will be provided to the CCSO to screen for sexual predators and wanted individuals prior to the event.
Every vendor will be given an 8 ½ x 11 sign to clearly print their name and space # and post in a visible location within their booth. The sign will also contain a phone number for them to call in an emergency. This allows anyone in or around the booth to quickly identify where they are if calling in an emergency and provides the vendor with a number to call if they are experiencing an emergency.
We have a child’s photo opp at every gate. All attendees with children will be encouraged to take a photo of their child upon arrival. That photo can be used to accurately identify a child to the authorities should they become lost.
Wristbands will also be available to children and Sharpies for the parent to write the child’s last name and an emergency phone # on the BACK of the wristband. Should a child become lost, the parent can be easily contacted.
